2 · Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA. When you visit the website, the server automatically processes server log files, in particular your IP address, the date and time of access, the page requested, the volume of data transferred, browser type, operating system and referrer URL. This processing supports the secure and stable operation of the website. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. As Vercel is based in the USA, data may be transferred there. Vercel relies on appropriate safeguards for these transfers, in particular the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

3 · Fonts

The fonts used are served locally from this server. No connection to third-party servers is made for this purpose.

4 · Cookies and tracking

This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking services.

When you choose a language, that preference is stored locally in your browser. If you dismiss a language suggestion, it stays hidden for the rest of your session. These settings are used only for your language preference, not for tracking. You can change the language at any time using the language switcher or delete the saved settings in your browser.

5 · Contact

If you contact me by email or through the contact form, the data you provide will be stored to process your enquiry. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR for enquiries relating to a contract, and Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for other enquiries. The data will be deleted once it is no longer required, unless statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.

When you submit the contact form, your name, email address, selected topic and message are transmitted in encrypted form to this website’s server and sent to BrainArts by email via Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc., USA). Resend processes this data as a processor. Data processing and any transfers to the USA are governed by the Resend Data Processing Addendum, including its safeguards for international data transfers. To prevent misuse, Vercel limits the number of requests based on the IP address; the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The application does not store your enquiry in its own database. If you open an email draft instead, it is sent only when you send it yourself through your email provider.

6 · Your rights

You have the right of access under Article 15 GDPR, rectification under Article 16, erasure under Article 17, restriction of processing under Article 18, data portability under Article 20 and the right to object to processing under Article 21. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
